The 2025 International Conference on Planarization/CMP Technology (ICPT 2025) was held in Hong Kong, China, from October 29 to November 1, 2025. Hosted by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), the conference was co-organized by the Chinese Tribology Institute of CMES, Tsinghua University, Hwatsing Technology Co.,Ltd., and Anji Microelectronics Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., with strong support from the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

With the theme of "Innovation-Driven Development of Planarization Technology, Empowering the Upgrade of High-End Manufacturing Industry", the conference gathered over 500 experts, scholars, and industry leaders from around the world. The participants represented a wide range of entities, including integrated circuit manufacturing enterprises, universities and research institutions, equipment suppliers, and key component & consumable manufacturers. Through diverse formats such as academic reports and achievement exhibitions, the conference focused on the cutting-edge trends, core technical challenges, and future development directions in the field of planarization technology, building a high-end platform for in-depth exchange and ideological collision.
