The Second International Workshop on Vertical Farming (VertiFarm2023)
The Second International Workshop on Vertical Farming (VertiFarm2023) was successfully held in Chengdu, China on May 23, 2023. It was organized by ISHS (International Society for Horticultural Science) and Urban Agriculture Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and co-organized by National Agricultural Science and Technology Center. More than 420 renowned experts, professors, and scholars from 18 countries and regions including USA, Japan, UK, South Korea, Italy and Chile attended the workshop. In-depth discussions were conducted around the theme of "Expanding arable land resources and significantly increasing food production capacity".
