A Beijing Evening with Ford Foundation

On December 4，2024, the Ford Foundation's Beijing office hosted the annual event “A Beijing Evening with Ford Foundation” at 600-year-old historical temple courtyard – ZhiZhuSi. More than 150 people attended in the event. At the beginning of the event, Mattie Benkink, regional director in China, delivered a warm welcome speech in Chinese. Darren Walker, President of the Ford Foundation, who travelled from New York to attend the Beijing evening and had a panel discussion with professors from Tsinghua University, Peking University, and senior officials from the United Nations Environment Programme.
