The 12th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering Design of Synchrotron Radiation Equipment and Instrumentation

From November 6 to 10, 2023, the 12th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering Design of Synchrotron Radiation Equipment and Instrumentation (MEDSI2023) was held by the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in Beijing, China.The conference aims to enable collaboration on cutting-edge instrumentation and technology, as well as novel research and development, that drives the rapid advancement in the field of synchrotron radiation and free-electron laser light sources worldwide.The conference topics include insertion devices, magnets, storage rings, front ends, beamlines, optics, end station instrumentation, and core technology development in vacuum, cryogenic, optics, and precision mechanics.The MEDSI2023 program includes invited and contributed talks, poster presentation sessions, as well as industrial exhibitions. 2023 Annual Conference of Chinese Association for Physiological Sciences

From 20th to 22nd Oct., 2023, 2023 Annual Conference of Chinese Association for Physiological Sciences hosted by the Chinese Physiological Society and co-organized by the Air Force Military Medical University of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and Xi'an Jiaotong University was successfully held in Xi'an and achieved a complete success!A total of 587 abstracts were received, including 415 poster presentations, 42 academic papers for oral communications, and 54 reports from young physiologists. There are 1,469 officially registered representatives, 85 volunteers and staff, and 13 sponsors and exhibitors. It is the largest annual conference of Chinese Association for Physiological Sciences.China Star provided full PCO services for the conference.

5th World Congress of Reproductive Biology (WCRB 2023)

From September 13 to 15, 2023. The 5th World Congress of Reproductive Biology (WCRB 2023) was held in Beijing, China. The Congress hosted by the Chinese Society for Reproductive Biology (CSRB) aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their interests, experiences and research findings about all aspects of reproductive biology.During WCRB 2023, about 900 participants from over 100 colleges and universities, scientific research institutions and other organisations related to the reproductive biology subject participated in the congress. China Star provided the full PCO service for the WCRB 2023.

3rd International Forum on Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals

On September 6, 2023, the 3rd International Forum on Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (FBAS 2023) opened in Beijing. The conference aims to deepen the function and role of big data in the sustainable development goals, strengthen data innovation, explore data value, deepen digital cooperation, improve digital governance, and contribute scientific and technological strength to accelerate the implementation of the 2030 sustainable development goals and global development initiatives.The forum lasted for three days, with 6 special sessions and 24 parallel sessions, discussing the path of big data driving and promoting global sustainable development transformation, sharing advanced big data technologies and resources, and discussing strategies to promote the implementation of sustainable development goals. China Star provided services for the conference.

The 10th International Workshop on Strong Correlations and Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy

From September 10 to 15, 2023, the 10th International Workshop on Strong Correlations and Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (CORPES 2023) was held at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.CORPES is an international series of workshops, held biennially since 2005, dedicated to recent experimental and theoretical advances in the electronic structure of strongly correlated systems and quantum materials. The workshops bring together scientists working in the broad areas of many-body electronic structure theory and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES).The aim is to deepen our understanding of the microscopic mechanisms underpinning the properties and functionalities of quantum materials (e.g., topological systems, 2D materials, correlated oxides, and superconductors). Recent experimental and theoretical advances in photoemission spectroscopy are also covered.
