The 13TH China Meetings Industry Convention (CMIC 2020)

The 13TH China Meetings Industry Convention (CMIC 2020) was held in Beijing during the period of December 3-4, 2020. CMIC 2020 was hosted by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, China Convention/Exhibition/Event Society and Huairou District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality. CMIC is one of the leading industry event in Chinese MICE field. Madame Liu Ping, Mr. Feng Jianhua, Ms. Bao Xiaolan and Mr. Zheng Han from China Star have been invited as a keynote speaker, moderator or panelist at different seminars and SITE China Chapter. China Star received three awards at CMIC 2020, which are: 2020 Best MICE Creative Brand of China 2020 Outstanding Youth of China MICE Industry – Wang Ming 2020 Outstanding Youth of China MICE Industry – Chen Lili

Reunion Party

The online Travel Professionals’ Reunion Party was successfully arranged by China Star on the evening of April 30, 2020, About 30 former CITS travel professionals were invited to join the online event. During the 3 hours open-ups, the guests recalled the past, shared their experiences, and talked about the future of MICE industry. Some of the guests are still working for CITS, some have set up their own business but in tourism industry, and some have transformed successfully with diversified business related to tourism industry. All of them have achieved great success in their respective fields. As Ms. Liu Ping the chief planner and host of the event said: No matter where we go, no matter why we left CITS in the past year, when we have the chance to meet, we will always be thankful for CITS's training and education. Mr. Feng Jianhua, CEO of China Star, delivered a speech at the opening of the event to analyze the trend of online meetings. The invited Dong minority chorus performance team presented memorable Dong songs as well.

2019 China Star Annual Meeting

China Star annual meeting was held at Green T. House and atCafe on January 16 and 17 respectively together with its Shanghai office participating via video conference. Frank Feng, CEO of China Star, summarized the success, achievements and some disadvantages in 2019 while Founder Madame Liu Ping gave a speech focusing on the improvements of some aspects in DMC and PCO service for next year. At the meeting, our staff gave a unique and wonderful personal summary for their 2019 which brought a lot of new ideas on how to make our proposal more interesting and practical, how to make the team work better and more efficient. The case study of treasure hunting in Shanghai Old Town is the most interesting one which was highly appreciated by the attendees.
